I have a network of 4 computers which are connected through a 4-port adsl
modem/router.

I used to have only 3 "Admin" "Sales" "Reception" and when I added the 4th
"Operations" and ran the network setup wizard and it usually goes without a
hitch. However, I have not added any new computers since upgrading
"Reception" to SP2.

The "Reception" computer can access "Operations" but "Operations" cannot
access "Reception". The other 2 computers can access each other both ways.

I tried disabling Norton Internet Security but I'm sure that its not
blocking it.

Please start by providing ipconfig information for each computer.
Start - Run - "cmd" - Type "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" into the command
window. Open Notepad, make sure that Format - Word Wrap is NOT checked!, open
file c:\ipconfig.txt, copy and paste entire contents into your next post.
Identify operating system (by name, version, and SP level) with each ipconfig
listing.

Uninstall the NIS firewall software, don't disable it. When the network is
working you can re-enable it and configure it appropriately.

I did try uninstalling NIS but that didn't fix it either!

The glitch is Windows XP SP2
