Hi,
I am trying to recover my lost pst files. This is what happened:
I have a personal folders in outlook. I was trying to move 3 folders
from the Personal Folders List to the "Mailbox" foolder (that contains
the Inbox, Sent Items, etc.). Of course, the 3 folders were too big in
size to fit under the mailbox. So while I expected and waited for
Outlook to prompt me with a warning saying the folders cannot fit due
to size, outlook actually shifted the 3 folders partially, i.e. it
truncated the folders shfiting only few emails instead of "all" or
"none". So I have incomplete folders in the "Mailbox" while these
fodlers have disappeared from the "Personal Folders".
I wanted to know if it is possible to recover these lost emails from
the folders that were neither shifted to the Mailbox, nor are retained
in the Personal Folders. I have an exchange server. I have already ran
the "inbox reapir utility", scanpst.exe but no use. I do have an old
"outlook.ost" but I could not open it and am not sure if it will have
any traces of my personal folders.
Any assistance will be apprecaited.
Thanks!
