RECENTLY USED FILE LIST

Go to TOOLS / OPTIONS...
If the 'Recently Used File List:' checkbox is uncheck, check it.

Dave, I had tried that earlier but with a newer version of Tweak UI. Using
version 1.13.1 worked.
