recent download problems

Hi ... on July 5, 2003 I downloaded a driver update for
ATI Tech - Enhanced Display Driver 2.9MB (Apr. 13, 2002)
and the next time I tried to play a DVD on my computer, it
crashed. Every subsequent time, no matter what DVD I
tried, the moment the Movie viewer (Interactual or ATI)
hit the movie open mode, my computer would go into restart
mode. No warning whatsoever. My only solution was
to "system restore" to two days ago. Help!!!

you might want to download the latest Catalyst from ati.com and give it a
try. Be sure to have uninstalled the old driver b4 installing a new one. If
you experience problems with a driver you can also roll back the driver in
the device manager after installing a new one.
