Recent documents folder

I am running XPPro and when I click Documents from the start folder I used
to get a list of maybe 10 or more recent documents that I had used.

I am not sure what I have done, bit when I click on documents it takes maybe
a full minute to open showing nothing.

Any ideas please.

Dave, rt click on Start Button>Select Prop>Customize>Advanced>Make sure
that List most recently opened documents is
checked. If it is then Clear List.
