Recent Documents folder

When starting up the computer, why is my Recent Documents
folder always empty? (Windows XP Professional). While
working on the computer,opening and closing various
files, I can go to Recent Documents on the Start Menu and
they are listed there but after re-starting the computer,
Recent Documents is empty again. I must have done
something to offend my computer! Would appreciate any
advice offered.

Hi Annie,
are you using TweakUI?If then you will find that there are two options:-
[+] Explorer
*Clear document history on exit:-
**Maintain document history:-This enables the tracking of recently
opened documents on the Start menu.
