Receiving messages in outlook

Hi

This is probably embarrassing easy to solve but I cant do it and it has
stopped me using outlook until I can this problem solved -

When I receive emails into outlook - if the email is formatted - the format
is lost. If the email has a picture - instead of showing the picture it
shows the address of where the jpg or gif file address.

Its making emails extremely hard to read and I cant figure out what I must
of ticked/unticked to get them like this as i have checked the options and
cant do it.

Anybody help me with this?

Is this Outlook 2003? Is there an "infobar" at the top of the message that
says "Click here to download pictures"? If so, you can click the link to
temporarily download the HTML stuff (you'll be asked if you want to save the
changes when you try to go to another message), or you can either add the
sender to the Safe Senders list or globally turn off the security for HTML
messages.

Hi

I am using outlook 2003

I am receiving this problem with ALL my emails into outlook - I cant see an
infobar at the top of the messages except for the one that says extra line
breaks in this message were removed - click to restore

There is some 'global' option that I need to do but cant figure out.

If any one can help you it be really appreciated

Can exchange telephone numbers if it can be fixed while i'm on the other
line - that be ideal but anything as I have had to revert back to using
express until this problem gets sorted.

OK, then go to Tools | Options | E-mail Options and make sure the box for
"Read all standard mail in plain text" is NOT checked.

Hi

Thanks for spending time helping me with this however

I cant see "Read all standard mail in plain text" check box under tools,
options, email options it may be because i gave u the wrong version of
outlook SORRY ! im using outlook 2002 sp3

Under Tools Option E-mail options there isnt a check box for read all
standarsd mail in plain text

However, i made a mistake - im using outlook 2002 sp3 - sorry for that

still desperate for help
