Receiving Emails

Sometimes when receiving emails the bottom activity bar indicates that there
are say 4 email comming through and it goes through the process of receiving
all 4 emails, 1 of 4, 2 of 4, 3 og 4 etc.. However, when opening the Inbox
maybe only 2 or 3 have been received. I,m concerned that the other emails are
bogus emails and have gone elsewhere. has any one got an answer to this query
thanks

If you have rules moving messages or have your junk mail filtering them out,
they will not be in your inbox.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

No rule are in place. Certain addresses are earmarked for the Junk Mail Box
and are automatically placed there but ,for some reason the additional mail,
as referred to below, does not appear anywhere and cannot be found.
