Receiving e-mails more than once

I have been receiving new and old e-mails more than once in the last couple
of days. First I received one e-mail 7 or 8 times and then started receiving
old e-mails 7 or 8 times a day. I log into the e-mail site and the e-mails
appear there only once. What can I do to stop this?

I've been having a similar problem with my email. For several months I've
been unable to receive email through Outlook, so I used NetZero instead.
Then I got a new computer and decided to try again. It's still doing it -
every time open Outlook it starts downloading all the messages between 7/06
and 11/06, and nothing new after that.
