Received mail with broken links?

Please help! my e-mail that I have been receiving no longer lets me open any
of the mail links. For example if I go to open an e-mail link I get the box
up requesting which program I would like to open the link, it defaults to the
Mirosoft XML file, and if I click on the program I want it just sits there,
it will not open. Even if I use Outlook Help to contact help, it opens a
notepad file with computer language I don't understand. Can anyone please
help, I have gone through the options box etc without any luck.

Point it to IEXPLORE.EXE or reset your default browser in Windows.
