Receive message very slow

I have a number of pop3 accounts that I download email from using Outlook
2003, and just one of those accounts started receiving very slowly (on the
order of 10 minutes for a 2K msg). Today a second account has slowed down.

I tried disabling my virus checker but that did not affect the speed. I'm
downloading using the same DSL link that I've had for years, and the
accounts that work normally download very quickly.

Any ideas how to debug this?

Lynn

Have you checked with the ISP in question to see if they are having issues?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
