Receive error messages of too many recepients in Outlook

Working with Office 2003 Professional. In Outlook I have set up a Group
mailing of no more than 12 people. When I try sending an e-mail to this
group I will get an error message that there are too many recepients. Some
of my group will get the e-mail but the others will not. I have since found
another person in North Carolina that also has the same problem. Do I need
to change settings?
