Receiptians unable to receive attachments from mails through Outlo

I have configured my company account and yahoo mail account into my Outlook
2003. Intermittently when I send out mails with power pt, excel or any other
attachments, some of my colleagues will receive not have receive the
attachment or they receive it as a .DAT file. I also tried to send by zipping
up attachment but no avail.

I did test by sending out mail through webclient instead of outlook and
attachment sent through there can be received.

Actions taken:
1. Uninstalled and re-install office pro
2. Uninstall and install Small Business Office
3. Delete and re-create account by IT Admin
4. Reformat PC and reinstall program

All these actions were taken but still I am facing this problem. Is there
any bug with Outlook 2003 or there is some hardware failure in my PC?

Are you using Rich Text format to send your messages? If so, that is
the problem. Try using plain text or HTML as your message format and
see if that solves your problem.
