Recalculating hyperlinks & Powerpoint file problem

I'm looking for more info on why FrontPage refuses to
display folders containing exported PowerPoint
presentations after "Recalculating Hyperlinks" on a
particular web.

These files/folders are visible when looking at the folder
via windows explorer, but not visuble in FrontPage's
folder listing.

I tried changing FrontPage to show hidden files, but this
did not work.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Did you import them into FrontPage with the
web open that you are going to use them in??

If not, FrontPage doesn't know they exist.
Therefore it only displays the folders that it "knows"
about.

This feature is a little spooky, but in Windows Explorer,
choose Tools, Folder Options, View, and then scroll down
to Managing Pairs Of Web Pges And Folder.

Whatever the current setting, change it, then close and
reopen FrontPage and see if you're getting the view you
want. Be sure to check both the Folder list and Folders
view.

Do you see these folders *before* you recalculate the hyperlinks? Try a View
| Refresh after it's done to see if they come back into view.

Yes, I did import them into FrontPage with the web open.

The folders are still hidden when viewing through FP.

Yes, they were visible before recalculating the hyperlinks.
Refreshing did not help.
