rebuilding outlook98

my current version was corrupted while trying to install
and then uninstall virus protection software. Reinstalled
Office97 to fix outlook problem. when i start outlook a
problem occurrs --- nmcxchex.ecf missing.


Tried running outlook98 active setup but it will not will
not download.

Any ideas or am i out of luck?

Outlook 98 was withdrawn from downloading after Office 2000 was released in
1999. Update to get a newer, more secure, and frankly better version, like
2003.
