Hi all
I have a requirement to to reboot an xp machine via logon (VBScript) after the script has done what it needs to do.
However I cannot (for love nor money) get the machine to accept a shutdown from the logon script. It simply simplt does not work. I have tried all flavours of shutdown (shutdown.exe, XP shutdown, WMI shutdown) and it will not have it. Run the same script once the user is logged on and it shutdown straight away.??
As the script deals with things such as offline folder syncs and such, the reboot needs to run before the shell starts, so it is not an option to schedule it or put the reboot in the startup folder
Run logon script synconously is enabled via GP
Any ideas at all
Thanks
Rob
