I need to do a repair install on a pc with win XP pro retail
(changing over MB and processor)

Will this proceed OK if the original XP pro install has had
all service packs applied or will I have to supply a slip
streamed version?

thanks

You will need to have an SP2 CD, either original or slipstreamed, you
can install the hotfixes and patches fro the MS update site at your
leisure.
