RealTek HD Audio Codec Problems ... stuttering and dragging sound

C

CJT

Basically I am running Windows XP on my MacBookPro using Boot Camp. I have
my RealTek and Microsoft audio drivers up to date. However, when i play
music in Media Player or stream music from the internet, the sound
occasionally stutters or drags for extended periods of time, particularly
when I am running multiple applications. I've uninstalled RealTek with no
sound as the result. I've also updated the driver to it's current version
and still had the same stuttering. Any suggestions on how to remedy this
problem?

also, all EQ settings are flat and no effects are enabled.

Hi.little late for reply, but anyhoo. If you are running multiple apps. You have
to make sure you have lots of RAM.Otherwise your over clocking your pc hence
stutter.Hope this helps.TERRY.

Actually, "overclocking" means to run a processor at higher than it's
nominal speed, typically by increasing the voltage. It doesn't mean
running more applications than RAM can reasonably accommodate.
