reallocating memory space from a deleted partition

I am running Win. xp. I recently deleted the partition 'D' that was used for
restoral files, after making a backup cd. Now that memory shows as
unallocated memory in Memory Management. How can I reallocate that 6.81gb to
the main drive? Thanks Much. (My C drive is NTFS)

Can't be done within XP without deleting everything and starting over.

BTW, the term "memory" refers to RAM. You are talking about disk storage
or, simply, storage.
