real player activex control not showing up in preview`

I have used ActiveX controls before to play audio or video on my websites.
However, I was using an earlier version of FrontPage when I did it.

Today I was trying to add the ActiveX control for Real Player for an mp3
file. The control appears in the design mode, but when I try to preview the
page, the control does not appear. I tried previewing it in my browser; still
nothing. I even uploaded the page to view it live to see if that made a
difference, but the control still does not appear.

The ActiveX box is checked under Tool/Page Options/Authoring. I can find no
reason for it not to work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I forgot to add that I am currently using FP2003.

If IE 7, is ActiveX enabled?

IE 7; yes, the ActiveX is enabled. The control does not appear either in the
browser or in the preview pane of Front Page. It only shows up in the design
pane.
