Real Media File

Folks:

Is it possible to launch a RealMedia file located at
((http://www.Joeblow.com/Joe100.ram) ) by typing this URL into the Command
Prompt ?

* How can this be done form the command prompt ?
* If not, how can I "adjust" this URL to run from the Command Prompt ?

Thanks,
Jo.

Only way I can see it might work is to invoke the player with that as a
parameter, you may need to change the D: to a C: but here's an example using
media player and a local file.

"d:\program files\windows media player\mplayer2.exe"
d:\windows\media\windows xp startup.wav

Note the quote position is critical and if the player will accept a URL then
the HTTP:// part might not be good...
