Hey group,
Right im ready to move to Stage 2 of my Project (And learning Experience)
I'm after some advice, not really on the coding side but more on the design
side (Sorry if this is the wrong group).
What I want is a IT support Database. On this I would like a mini Stock
Control Database, i.e 512meg dimm comes into stock and gets a Asset ID
assigned to it. When we book it out the Asset ID is assigned to a Computer
ID, which the Computer ID is assigned to a Department and User. At the end
of the month we need to run a report on which department has had what
equipment. I would also like to incorporate a warranty database into this so
when we book a item in we can add a book in date to it, if the item goes
faulty we can see if it is under warranty and send it back. Also I would
like to be able to have all our asset ID`s with Barcodes on.
Could somebody point me in the direction of a website, or if anybody has
made anything similar would they like to share any info?
