Hello;
I have several 100 Mb Iomega Zip disks containing information I downloaded,
via the Internet, using Windows 98 SE.
I have upgraded to Windows XP Pro and do not know how to recover the data
from these disks. A text file on the disks advises me " the disks were
compressed using DriveSpace 3 which requires Windows 98". Is there any way
to recover this information? I do have access to a machine running Windows
ME, but not Win 98. I would appreciate any help you can offer regarding
this matter. Thank you.

You need access to a machine that has DriveSpace 3 to decompress the
archived files. Windows ME supported mounting disks that had been
compressed with drivespace (for read and write purposes) but was not
capable of compressing or decompressing
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;254470&Product=winme).

Incidentally, Drivespace3 shipped with Plus! for Windows 95.
