reading 90min/800mb cd-r disks

i have pioneer 104 cd/dvd burner plus toshiba dvd rom both
drives will not read the correct amount of capacity on
disks

?Checked the Manufacturers sites for revised firmwares?

That's the ONLY approach.

=>IF<= the periphs were built with sufficient internal "leeways " to allow
future extra capabilities then a change to newly issued revisions =>COULD<==
allow this increase to 90 mins....but DON'T expect this to be.
After all you bought 64 or a 70 mins capacity drives and no one is bound to
be so kind in any way and to offer you more.
