Read receipts now appear as ordinary mail in Outlook 2007

I ran Outlook 2007on 2 Vista PC's & an XP laptop. (5 licences 1 disc). One
PC died and was replaced and Office reinstalled.

Whenever a read receipt arrives, the icon is that of normal incoming,
unopened mail and not the read receipt icon.

Previously all 3 installations were OK.

I notice that the current versions now differ slightly. The OK one is
12.0.6504.1000 SP2 MSO 12.0.6425.1000.

The dodgy one is 12.0.6423.1000 (SP2 same as above)

Is this the problem and if so how do I rectify it.

I have literally just been through office update and SP2 was added to the
new machine. Presumably there are some earlier updates missing.

Can someone confirm please

Further to my post.

Since SP2 was added additional updates have been added. This brings the
versions on both PCs to the same version numbers.

Read receipts that come in on the new PC still don't show the correct icon.
any ideas???
