Read-Only

Hello,

We are moving users/files from Novell to Active Directory
but every time I move the users files, Microsoft turns
each file as a READ-ONLY file. I then check the properties
but the READ-ONLY box is NOT checked.

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Have you looked at the share and NTFS permissions. Most likely one of those is
set to read-only.

BTW, this isn't an Active Directory Question, it is probably better suited in
one of the server newsgroups.
