Read Only Permission on Removable Storage

Been using a USB 125mb stick for sometime. Out of the blue it responded that
the Media was write protected when i tried to save something to it.
Only about 20mb used, and all folders and files are reading ok, and I can
copy them.
When I open properties on the stick, I do not see a Security tab, so I can't
change permissions. I have full administrator rights on the PC.
It may be just a faulty stick, but any suggestions?

Thanks Philo! There IS a tiny switch! Accessible through a tiny hole in the
casing! The casing had recently opened accidently, and I guess the switch
must have been moved when re-assembling!
