Read-only in explorer

Hello!

I have some excel files, on a server. I reach the server by Interne
Explorer.
When I open file by a link on a html page, the excel file is opened a
Read Only file, so I can't update the changes.

How could I open the files without the read-only attribute?

When I open file by a link on a html page, the excel file is opened as
Read Only file, so I can't update the changes.

Instead of clicking on the link, Right-click it and choose Save (or it may
be called Download). Save the file in a directory. Then use Excel to open
the file that you saved.
