Is there a way to delete a read only file from a CDRW that has been backed
up on using the XP Home Edition built in burn program?
I understand this might be done on the desktop by transferring the file
there first (is this right) , but what's puzzling me is that apparently all
I can do is COPY the file to the desktop. If I can delete it there by
unchecking the read only box, does the original file remain on the disk and
if so, what's the advantage of deleting it?
Thanks,
Dudley

No AFAIK. To delete individual files on a CDRW, the CDRW needs to be
formatted for packet writing AFAIR
