Read Only Field

Good afternoon,

I know if I set a field's properties to 'Enabled' 'No',a field will be
greyed out, but this tends to discolor a form. I would like to set a field to
read-only so no discoloration occurs or is there a way to adjust color for a
disabled field? Thanks.
 
Add to the field property locked = true, that will change the color of the
field back.
