First thing to do is see if you can bootup in safemode

Hit F8 just before the operating system loads (right after the bios
messages)

Thanks but that is not going to tell me what it says on the BSOD.

It very probably will tell you when you go into Administrative
tools....Event viewer
and look at the error log

Vista pretty much operates like any previous versions of NT

You might try pressing F8 when it reboots, and go into Safe Mode..

If you do get it stopped, you can set it to not automatically restart....

Start - Control Panel - System - Advanced System settings
Advanced tab - Startup & Recovery: Settings
System failure: uncheck [ ] Automatically restart
ok

I never get BSODs as I run a real operating system - Linux. But, maybe
hitting the Pause key will freeze it so you can read it?

Cheers.

Won't work. You gotta configure that in either Normal or Safe Mode. It's
one of the first things I do when I installed Windows.

That's correct, how perceptive of you.

This BSOD was caused by my mucking around, not Windows.

Hahahaha...you are using a toy os...that won't do or run anything...and
we all know that to be true.
So why are you here "nostop"?
Just to troll or are you still trying to sell medical advice and
football helmets?
You are a real jerk and a complete loser.
Be careful or else I'll continue to bit*h slap all of you linux losers
all over the place over at your open sore sh*thole where you hang out.
