New computer and a infrequent series of BSOD's. After a while these turned
to more frequent with some MS updates failing to install . Also the BSOD
error changed so did a reinstall but when upgrading Graphics drivers ended
up with corrupted drivers and more BSOD's. Did some reading on the web about
BSOD's and quite a bit pointed to hardware / driver failures.
Final results were I tried used Vistas DVD memory checking utility again
( did it when first building the computer ) and it show errors. Then used
memtest and is showed one of the sticks to be faulty.
Anyway now have different memory and no BSOD's and Vista is running pretty
good.
