Reactivate Always ask feature in Opening Mail attachment

When I am opening an attachment (Outlook 2003) I am supposed to get an
Opening mail attachment dialogue box that provides 2 options (Open or Save).
If the Always ask before opening this type of file has been unchecked, how do
I reset this feature?

Use Control Panel's File Options applet for that. Click the File Types tab,
locate the file type for which you want the question asked, select it, click
Advanced and check the box labeled "Confirm after download".

this solution is not working with windows vista as the "File types" tab does
not exist anymore
if you go to control panel/Default programs/Set Association, you can set
that either
so what is the trick?

it is odd, because when I have checked the registry the settings were ok (ie
"EditFlags"=hex:00,00,00,00 like I wanted) but it wasn't working
but after a reboot, the settings were more logic (ie
"EditFlags"=hex:00,00,01,00).
so I have changed the registry entry to "EditFlags"=hex:00,00,00,00 and now
it is working perfectly
