I have windows Xp Home after a system crash, I have the
following message occur when I boot up:-
C:\windows\system32\config\system is corrupt.
Now I know how to remove the files and copy the repair
files into the same directory, but when I start the
recovery console because the registry is damaged I cannot
logon to a windows installation. So I have the command
prompt but anything I try as in usage of commands tells me
access denied.
How can I stop this so I can repair my registy.
I have managed also to install a fresh copy of windows xp
onto another hard drive, but when connecting the currupt
windows xp hard drive, and booting up the new xp I am not
able to access the corrupt hard to delete the files is
there any way to do this.
