RE. Volume Icon

Repeatedly, after several start ups, the volume
control icon disappears from the task bar.
When I check the sound and audio devices,
It shows a check in the "place volume icon in
the taskbar". Appreciate inputs.
(e-mail address removed)
 
Right click on the taskbar and choose 'customise
notifications', find Volume, then click the option that
is offered. In the drop down menu select 'always show'.
