I you have Ultimate or the business version perform the admin tasks using
Print Management (printmanagement.msc)

for Home, in the printers folder right click the printer Run as
administrator / Properties

there is a missing module. What print processor is assigned to the device?
Printer properties, advanced.

the driver on the server is probably a different version than the driver you
have installed on the client


You can see if setting up the printer on the server as a local printer gets
this working.


Add Printer, Local, Create Local Port in the format \\server\printshare,
select the driver, Next, Next
