Re-Sintalling XP Home

Basically I have a Dell Inspiron 510m laptop which came directly from Dell.
When I bought it it had various bits on such as the touchpad drivers, Dell
Quickset, Dell SUpport and may things. A situation has occurred where XP Home
has to be re-installed on my system. (Have backed up all files). However I am
aware that re-installing wipes EVERYTHING. And it is a concern of mine that I
will probably loose these UNLESS they are on the 'XP Home re-installation CD'
which came with the Laptop. The disk is purple in colour, has DELL written on
it and says the above text along with some other stuff.

Is this disk a 'customised' version of the CD from dell and thus will have
all of the above features on it, or is it just the same as any other XP Home
CD and it is just restricted to use with a Dell Laptop.

Would it be best to contacts DELL or what?

Yes they could be on there but best is to contact Dell to be sure. Didn't
you get any other CD's with it?
