Re-registering a URL

G

Guest

I've been updating our website drastically. I went to Google to register the
url, which they said was successful. However, it looks like maybe our site
was registered before. It's still using the keywords that used to be the
meta tag description for our site. How do I get engines to search the new
keywords?

It can take several weeks or even months before it's indexed.

And even then, they will ignore your list of keywords and derive their own
list based on your page's contents, probably.

Will it still work having the same url address

Yes.
but with just the meta tags
changed?

It will probably make no difference. Did the human-readable content on the
pages change?

If it has been on the web it's been spidered.... google will pass by your
site again ...you just have to wait...

If your serious about your website I highly recommended Cricket's Free SEO
Classes

This link includes an overview of the free classes, along with a link to
class registration.

http://www.gnc-web-creations.com/seo-optimization.htm

BOTH the SEO Class and the Marketing Class are required. One must join both
BEFORE one's membership will be approved.
