I am using MS FrontPage 2002 in Win XP Pro, and I have the
MS FrontPage 2002 Inside Out book. My business partner
thinks that words in our domain name is what will make our
web most visible to search engines. I have read in other
places that the thing that makes a Web most visible to
search engines is meta tags or keywords. However, I
cannot find any info about how to set (designate) meta
tags or keywords in my web. Please tell me Where I can
find such information?

Keywords, or more importantly keyphrases, are important - after all,
that's what people enter into the search box at Google or Yahoo or MSN
Search, right?

However, the keywords metatag is of limited or no importance now,
depending on the search engine. It doesn't hurt to include it, however'
but the most important thing is to make sure that your page content and
the <TITLE> tag contains your most important keywords/keyphrases.

The tags go in the <HEAD>... </HEAD> section of your page:

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>This is your page title - make sure it is brief and concise and
contains your most important keywords up front. Either omit your company
name or URL or place them at the end of the title.</TITLE>
<META name="description" content="Type a brief description of the page,
again highlighting important keywords/keyphrases, here.">
<META NAME="keywords"
CONTENT="keyword1, a keyword phrase1, another keyword phrase2, keyword2,
don't overdo it">
</HEAD>
<BODY>
....
</BODY>
</HTML>

If you really want to get to the top of search engines
then use overture and google and pay for your name tp be
up in front otherwise your site might disappear into the
wilderness
