I have recently been receiving this BSD STOP error after
partial shutdown, and I can't figure out what I've done
differently to cause it. Any ideas? I know I'm missing
something simple but can't put my finger on it. The
system hangs on this STOP error for a few moments then
reboots despite the request to shut down. The system also
completely ignores commands to hibernate now as well.
After the error message is displayed, the system reboots
automatically. I have to time a power-off manually to
complete the shut down process. Here is what I'm seeing;

other goodies that i don't think apply to this. Any input
would surley be appreciated!!

Check your virtual memory settings! Also, you should copy
that error message to the TechNet bugcheck page and see
what comes up. GL
