Re installed xp on computer

I recently installed xp on my computer after a problem occured, I was told
i needed to nstall xp again and retrieve my files and save them on back up
disk, How do i go about doing this ? please help me!!

Hi, I hope you backed up everything you wanted to keep before doing the
reinstall. If not anything you may have wanted to keep is forever gone. if
you did back them up prior to fresh install then your safe. to reload your
back ups you will need to install the programs that created them. and then
open them with the programs.

I was unable to save anything on my computer, the microsoft support had me
reinstall xp on it with the other xp still on it, I still have both programs

If you did a complete install as suggested and reformatted the hard drive
then your files that you didn't back up are gone.
how ever if you just rolled the system back to a earlier date you may still
be able to undo the roll back and retrieve your files. I need you to tell me
exactly what steps you were instructed to do. and I or someone here can help
you undo it. please post back.
