I am not sure what you want to do, but if you don't want other computers
access to your computer stop server service. If you don't want the computer
access to other computer, stop workstation service.

actually what i want to do...

i have a DB server having 2 NIC, one for WAN and other for LAN
i just want to play with WAN nic

we are using the LAN one to access .. database..
i want to disable the WAN and to check if every thing works fine..
as i dont have physical access to it.. so i dont wana take the risk.. want
to disable it and run a bat file after 5 munutes to enable it.. if things go
wrong.
