ALL:

I have been supporting several clients and noticed one computer cannot
download any updates from the Microsoft "Windows Update" site. I believe this
is due to the fact that the license running on my clients’ computer is
"invalid".
:-(
My goal is have my client purchase a "valid" license so they that can
continue to download all the necessary security updates from the Microsoft
site.
Question: How do I re-activate or apply a new license on a computer
currently running Win XP without have to reformat it?

Many thanks in advance.
