RDP lagging

I am running a W2K netowrk with two terminal servers. I
find that some applications and particularly some users
lag during the afternoon. My network seems to have enough
processor power and memory to handle what the users do and
shouldn't lag. I have noticed on the users RDP options
they are set in experience to 56k. Would bumping them up
to LAN 10mbps help with the lag???

It might well enhance performance. Connecting as if you are using
a modem means that you enable local caching of bitmaps. That can
be a performance killer on a slow client.
