Hmm, I'm having some problems connecting to Windows 2003 servers... in
TCPView I see that the connection is established, but the remote desktop
does not appear.

Are there additional ports required to make this work ? I'm running the RDP
from within a WMware client.

Also, how can I uninstall this update ?

Same issue ... all our updated machines that connect via VPN are affected
....

Work around is have them launch the old mstsc.exe form the uninstall folder
from the update ... which is a bit cumbersome.

Hello,

use the "Do not use authentication" option in the Advanced Tab sheet of
option. Thios does not persist however so if you want to make it permanent
add following line to the default.rdp file (or any other saved .rdp
file):enablecredsspsupport:i:0

That will take care of it. Cheers
