RDC - Mapping the local printer

D

Derek

I've established a remote connection from one XP Pro
machine to another. I can see my local printer on the
host, but I need to be able to map this printer to an LPT
port on the host ('cause I need to print from a DOS-based
app on the host to my local printer). However, when I go
into the properties for the printer on the host,
everything is greyed out. Please help!!

Thx in advance,
Derek

Yes, I have had this problem. TS is designed to work with
DOS based programs as far as I can gather but the way I
did it was to share the Session printer and use net use on
TS server and map lpt1 to the share.

Sorry I did mean to say TS is not designed to work with
DOS based programs....

Thanks Martin. How do I share the session printer on the
remote system? When I try to do a NET USE, I keep getting
the error "Resource cannot be found".
