RCA Video Audio Front Panel

I am building a computer for a friend that insists on all his jacks being
accessible through the front panel including RCA jacks for video and audio
input for him to do some video capture to the capture card with rear inputs.
I have seen add in front panels that fit in drive bays but not one that
includes RCA audio and video inputs. Can someone help me out of this jam?
He will be disappointed when I deliver his system to have to reach around
the back to hook up his camcorder or VCR to do some capture. The case is
black so a black front panel add in will be ideal. A link to something
would be nice since most of what I have found available has everything but
the RCA inputs.

Hello

Have a look at www.frontx.com They have a nice modular system that should
have what your looking for. My Asus V9560 video card has video in and out
(VIVO) and has a break out box that sits on my desktop with both Composite
Video (RCA) in and out as well as the same for S-Video.

Cheers

I thought most camcorders had bluetooth or some other wireless connection
now, don't they? Why not just buy a 3' long VCR dubbing cable, hook it up
in back and run it down the side? Or get one of those cases with a cover
over the 5.25" drive bays and leave the end of the cable sitting on top of a
DVD drive or something with a (missing) blank panel above it? That way it
would be completely hidden unless you were using it, or using an optical
drive. Or you could make your own custom RCA jack panel out of a blank
panel covering one of the optical drive bays. Radio shack should have the
parts you need to do that. Or buy a wall jack with RCA connectors from Home
depot and glue it to the back of a optical drive spacer with a hole cut in
it. It could look really professional, if you're careful. -Dave

Your thinking is along the lines of my original thought but since I was
dealing with a person that was going to purchase something on sale at Best
Buy and liked the look and features of a proprietary machine I am trying to
match feature per feature. The 8 mm camcorder he has does not include USB
or Firewire outputs so the only option is RCA. I probably could have made a
makeshift front panel from Radio Shack parts but once again I am trying to
make this look as smooth as possible and I don't trust my handiwork with
power tools :)
