RC1

I have Beta 2, which I received via the CPP in June. The vista website says
that CPP participants should have received e-mail in early september on how
to get RC1. I never received any such mail. Any suggestions?

One issue is that I never actually registered or activated Beta 2. My
machine has only a USB keyboard, and after going through the install, I could
never get the USB keyboard to be recognized, so I never managed to log on.
Perhaps this has something to do with me not receiving RC1 mail?

Hi Tim,

If you are sure that you received Beta 2 via CPP. Then download the RC1 from
http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/rc1/en/download.htm

Find out the Beta 2 product key thru SIW software and use the same while
upgrade to RC1.

Email just contains the Product key. If you didn't receive it, follow the
steps above.
