RC1 Running Perfectly Until RC2 Upgrade

I was happily running RC1 for a little over a month, and decided to upgrade
to RC2. I havent had any conflicts except with NERO which I have uninstalled
and some sound glitches in certain games. No major annoyances which was
surprising!

However today I have been experiencing issues with the new RC. Ive had it on
there about 24 hours now and 2 reboots since. Now it gets as far as the
log-in screen, I click on my name to log in and it freezes up. Even trying to
shut down the computer through that screen results in a freeze and I have now
unplugged it.

The only issue I have had since RC2 was the detection of my Audigy
soundcard. It worked fine in RC1 and BETA 2. It was not detected in RC2

I am going to have to borrow an old PS2 keyboard to try and get it to start
up again in safe mode/last known good config as we all know USB is not
detected in DOS..

My current configuration is

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ 1GB PC3200 RAM, Geforce 6 6200, SB Audigy, Logitech
diNovo Keyboard and Mouse

I know this bit of information does not help with your immediate problem,
but the newest update to Nero 7 *does* work with Vista, so once you get the
other issues straight...
