RASCTRS error...

This error appears in my Application log:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: rasctrs
Event Category: None
Event ID: 2001
Date: 1/13/2004
Time: 8:24:27 AM
User: N/A
Computer: 2KSERVER
Description:
The description for Event ID ( 2001 ) in Source (
rasctrs ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have
the necessary registry information or message DLL files to
display messages from a remote computer. The following
information is part of the event: The event log file is
corrupt..

This error seems to be related to rras, but I am not
running that service on this server. Also, there seems to
be no corruption in my log files anywhere.

I did however find article 823405 and it leaves me
wondering if maybe I should configure RRAS, reinstall SP4,
restart my computer and then unconfigure RRAS???

Let me know what I can do, and if I am posting in the
wrong area or not.
